For the Project

The curiosity assignment challenged me to write a feature story on a topic I was curious about. I chose Pullman’s Lentil Festival because I was born and raised in Pullman. I have always been curious about how the festival started and what planning for the festival entails. I interviewed two people familiar with Lentil Festival; George Sharp was one person behind the first festival and Mitch Chandler is a former mayor in Pullman.
